about

I recorded “Insomnia” in my home studio, in one day. Layering the solos in a looping manner, to achieve the feeling of peace and anxiety at once. Out of the blue and into the black, it throws you from calm to desperation. From steady breathing to grasping air. Percussive echoes and familiar warmth of Jeff Buckley giving up under John Frusciante's melodic chaos, finding its way into the grace of empyrean.

lyrics

Insomnia
The darkest nights are still to come
I’m drinking wine again
The sounds not making sense to me
Please just let me go
Insomnia

Insomnia
The brightest days are still to come
I am dreaming on and wearing out again
The songs not making sense to me
Please just let me go, my dear
Insomnia

Insomnia
The brightest days are still to come
I’m looking for her eyes to find
Please just let me go my dear
Insomnia
